Cancellation Policy

At Websyt, we want you to stay because you’re happy with your site and our service, not because cancelling is difficult. This page explains exactly how cancellation works, so you know what to expect.

How to Cancel

To cancel your subscription, complete the cancellation form below. We’ll ask for a few details about your account so we can identify your order, and we’ll confirm receipt of your cancellation request in writing.

We require 30 days’ notice to process a cancellation. Here’s what that means in practice, depending on your billing cycle:

If you’re on a monthly plan: Your service, including hosting of your site, will continue for 30 days from the date we receive your cancellation request. After that, your service ends and your site will be taken offline.

If you’re on an annual plan: Cancelling tells us you don’t want to renew. Your service continues as normal for the rest of your current paid annual period. Your service then ends at the end of that period, with nothing further to pay.

Key Things to Know Before You Cancel

  • No refunds are issued for cancellations, including any unused portion of a monthly or annual term.
  • Cancellation must be submitted through our official cancellation form below. This lets us verify your account and process your request correctly.
  • Once your contract ends, we’ll return any materials you provided to us, but we’re unable to hand over the website itself, its source code, or any of its content, and we don’t provide migration assistance to another host or provider.
  • All licences to use the site and its content end immediately when your service terminates.
How much notice do I need to give?

We ask that all cancellations go through the form, as this ensures we have the correct details to identify and action your request properly. You’ll receive written confirmation once we’ve processed it.

We’ll return any materials you originally provided to us. The website itself, including its source code and content we built, remains our property and isn’t transferred to you, and we’re not able to assist with migrating to another provider.

Once your contract ends, all licences to use the site and its content terminate immediately, and access is closed down in line with the timelines above.
